We hosted the goated Spirit Halloween party last weekend, plus the loads of other artists we’ve had over the year who have made us rage, made us laugh, made us cry - and any and everything else in between. And yeah, we got one more for y’all - switching up the vibes RIGHT as we get into Thanksgiving season (no shame) and bring in the late fall game bluegrass. We hope you’re ready for the night with the Mountain boys down here in the desert. Their tour has been going EVERYWHERE lately too by the way. Since and now all the way into the Fall - the band has been on tour with Railroad Earth and up in Nashville, getting litty in NY City and Albany, Chicago and all the cities around the great lakes, and now - right here with us for the best night in November!
Yonder Mountain String Band is a bluegrass group that got their start in Nederland, Colorado in the late 90s and are known for their amazing live performances and breaking character for impromptu jam sessions on stage. The band is made up of Ben Kaufmann, Dave Johnston, Adam Aijala , Nick Piccininni, and Coleman Smith. They got their start back in ‘98 right before the turn of the millenia through the indie bluegrass community in the city, first selling out small bars - then stages and shows everywhere. After getting their start at small time festivals around Colorado, the band has propelled to Bluegrass A-listers after 25 years in the game. After eleven studio albums and six live ones, as well as many many tours around the country and North America - these guys are a staple of the culture, and have made a lasting impact forever.
